Message :Many of you have heard my complaints on my Z. Rough and shakey idling, lack of acceleration, lack of power(well, what power can be expected of a N/A), white smoke from the exhaust on the first start up of the day, gas smell ect.
:
:Well, I'm wondering if it's not the injector that's out, but the connector. While driving to pick up my check today, it was driving as usual, she wouldn't pull, took forever to pass some cocky camaro, and idles at about 1200 rpm. Well, very oddly, as if graced by the hand of the Z Gods, on my way home, she began running just fine. Passed just fine, accelerated like a Z should, didn't shake, didn't even mis-fire. When I revved the engine, she just purred. Not what I'm used to hearing, usually I hear puuuuur-pop-puuur.
:There was still the high, and some-what rough idle, but while driving there wasn't as much of a problem.
:So, what does that sound like? Injector, Harness, Connector, or none of the above? Any suggestions would be great.

The best thing to do is to get an ohm-meter and measure the resistance of the fuel injectors from the ECU harness under the passenger floor board. I am pretty sure there is a FAQ on how to do this. You should measure 10-14 ohms.
